Connect Stripe

DocksDeck uses Stripe— the payment platform behind millions of businesses — to move money. The important part: it's your Stripe account. Boater payments go directly to you, refunds and disputes are yours to control, and DocksDeck never takes a cut.

Set it up

  1. Go to Settings → Billing and click Connect Stripe.
  2. Stripe walks you through its onboarding — business details, bank account for payouts. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in and reuse it.
  3. When Stripe finishes verifying, the billing page shows Charges enabled and payment features unlock everywhere.

Getting paid for transient stays

Open any reservation and click Request payment. DocksDeck creates a secure Stripe checkout link pre-filled with the quote — send it by email or text, or let the boater pay at the counter. When they pay, the reservation is marked paid automatically.

Seasonal slips: recurring invoices

For seasonal reservations you can start monthly invoicingfrom the reservation page. Stripe emails the boater an invoice each month with a pay-by-card link; you can stop the schedule at any time (end of season, boat sold, etc.).

Fees

Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each card payment (about 2.9% + 30¢ in the US) — the same as any card reader. DocksDeck adds nothing on top. Our only charge is the flat $79/month subscription.
