Booking widget
The widget lets boaters request a slip from your own website — they enter dates and boat size, DocksDeck checks live availability, and the request lands on your board as a pending reservation. Nothing is booked until you confirm it.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings → Widget and click Turn on.
- Copy the embed snippet. It looks like this:
<script src="https://docksdeck.com/embed.js" data-marina="your-marina" async></script> - Paste it into any HTML or embed block on your site — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy builders all have one. The widget sizes itself to fit.
No website? Use the link
The same settings page gives you a public booking linkyou can put in an email signature, a Facebook page, or a Google Business profile. It opens the identical booking form as a standalone page.
How requests work
- The form only offers dates where a slip that fits the boat is actually open — it never overbooks, and it never reveals which slips you have or your occupancy details.
- A request creates a pending reservation with the boater and vessel attached — you'll get an email, and it shows on the board with a "via widget" badge.
- Confirm it like any other reservation — the document gate and payment links work exactly the same.
